El Chico-Style Enchilada Sauce
Ingredients:
1 quart cold water
1/2 cup chili powder
1/2 cup paprika
1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons roux
Directions:
Combine first four (4) ingredients in a sauce pan and bring to a boil.
Stir in the roux, continuing to stir
Simmer for one (1) minute and remove from heat.
Use or refrigerate until ready to use.
