Garlic Cheese Biscuits
Homemade Garlic-Cheese Biscuits

Ingredients:

2 Cups Pioneer Mix

2/3 Cup water*

1/2 Cup finely shredded cheddar cheese

2 Tablespoons butter

1/2 Teaspoon garlic powder

Old Bay Seasoning - dash

Salt - dash

* Try adding 2 tablespoons of 'dry buttermilk mix' to the 2/3 cup of water. Make sure the mix dissolves in the water before adding in the biscuit mix.

In a bowl with the water add the Pioneer Mix and cheese.

Stir the ingredients together until everything is moist and blended.

Using the spoon fold the dough over to make the dough into a ball and let it sit for 5 minutes (this is important).
Do not over stir the dough. The more you stir the heavier the biscuits.

To make drop biscuits, spoon the dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 450° for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.

While the biscuits are baking, melt the butter adding to it the garlic, salt, and Old Bay Seasoning. Set aside.

Note: Use Paprika if you do not have Old Bay Seasoning OR replace the Old Bay and the dash of salt with same measurement of Seasoned Salt.

This recipe will make 12 biscuits
