
Pink Champagne Punch
Ingredients:
- 4 Cups fresh strawberries (1 Quart)
- 1/2 Cup fine granulated sugar
- 1 (4/5 quart) Bottle Rose wine (chilled)
- 1 Cup Cognac
- 4 Bottles Pink Champagne (4/5 quart each)
- Decorative ice mold
Directions:
Start preparation at least two (2) hours before serving.
- Sprinkle strawberries with sugar in a deep bowl.
- To strawberries and sugar add wine and cognac.
- Refrigerate two (2) hours.
- At serving time, place decorative ice mold in punch bowl.
- Add berry mixture to punch bowl
- Add cold champagne, reserving 1 bottle to refresh punch
- Float a few whole strawberries on punch, and place one strawberry in each serving
Makes 40 servings.
