Pink Champagne Punch with Cognac and Strawberries

Pink Champagne Punch

Ingredients:

  • 4 Cups fresh strawberries (1 Quart)
  • 1/2 Cup fine granulated sugar
  • 1 (4/5 quart) Bottle Rose wine (chilled)
  • 1 Cup Cognac
  • 4 Bottles Pink Champagne (4/5 quart each)
  • Decorative ice mold


Directions:

Start preparation at least two (2) hours before serving.

  1. Sprinkle strawberries with sugar in a deep bowl.

  2. To strawberries and sugar add wine and cognac.

  3. Refrigerate two (2) hours.

  4. At serving time, place decorative ice mold in punch bowl.

  5. Add berry mixture to punch bowl

  6. Add cold champagne, reserving 1 bottle to refresh punch

  7. Float a few whole strawberries on punch, and place one strawberry in each serving

Makes 40 servings.
