Raisin Sticks
Ingredients:
- 1/2 Cup raisins
- 1/4 Cup plain yogurt
- 1/2 Cup milk
- 2-1/2 Cups Pioneer biscuit mix
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees
- Mix all ingredients into soft dough
- Knead dough five (5) times on a surface that has been generously covered with baking mix (do not use flour)
- Roll dough to a 10" x 6" rectangle
- Cut dough into strips that are 1" x 10" (Cut these to make two (2) sticks 1" x 5" if you want smaller raisin sticks)
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet about 1" apart
- Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown
Serving Tips: Good when served warm with jam or cream cheese or brush with melted butter when they come out of the oven and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar.
