Cinnamon Raisin Sticks Recipe

Raisin Sticks

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Cup raisins
  • 1/4 Cup plain yogurt
  • 1/2 Cup milk
  • 2-1/2 Cups Pioneer biscuit mix
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees
  2. Mix all ingredients into soft dough
  3. Knead dough five (5) times on a surface that has been generously covered with baking mix (do not use flour)
  4. Roll dough to a 10" x 6" rectangle
  5. Cut dough into strips that are 1" x 10" (Cut these to make two (2) sticks 1" x 5" if you want smaller raisin sticks)
  6. Place on ungreased cookie sheet about 1" apart
  7. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown




Serving Tips: Good when served warm with jam or cream cheese or brush with melted butter when they come out of the oven and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar.
