
Ranchero Sauce
Ingredients:
- 2 cups fresh chopped tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped onions
- 1/4 cup chopped hot green peppers (use mild if preferred)
- 2 tablespoons oil
- Salt & pepper to taste
Directions:
- Saute the onions and peppers in the oil.
- When the onions are translucent, add in the tomatoes and simmer for five (5) minutes.
- Remove from heat or store in the refrigerator for future use.
This sauce can be used in meat fillers, over beans, when making Eggs Ranchero or whatever else you might like.
