
Strawberry Cake
Cake Ingredients:
- 1 boxed cake mix (yellow or white)
- 1 box (0.3 oz) strawberry Jell-O
- 1/2 cup water
- 3/4 cup oil
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup chopped,frozen strawberries (defrosted)
Directions:
- Mix eggs, oil, water together
- Add cake mix and Jello-o to wet ingredients
- Beat on high for 2 minutes
- Fold strawberries into the batter
- Bake at 350 degrees for about 30-40 minutes or until a tooth inserted in the center comes out clean
Strawberry Frosting:
- 1 stick soft butter
- 3-4 cups powdered sugar
- water to mix
- 1/4 cup of chopped, frozen strawberries (defrosted)
Mix first 3 ingredients together until smooth. Gently mix in the strawberries. Frost cooled cake.
Refrigerate left-over cake or if cake is not eaten immediately.
